With more and more 4x4 adventures hitting us up about air setups for their vehicles we thought it would be time for us to make our own kit.
To start off we have a 3 gallon spun Aluminium air tank for on board air storage. Now the air tank has extra ports so the options are endless to what you can run when you have an onboard air supply. Also the mounting feet are adjustable so they can be fitted into any tight spot. (You can also upgrade to a 5 gallon air tank if you want the ultimate setup)
Now heart of the system we have a Viair 12v compressor. These things are a beast, we run these on most of our air suspension installs.
The compressor features a head assembly that includes a newly-developed, patents pending intercooler head. Additionally, they are equipped with a stainless steel braided leader hose with inline check valve assembly that serves to protect the compressor by eliminating the possibility of high amperage restarts.
